PianoArchive.org - a complete archive of piano music (BETA)

Our mission: To create a complete archive of all solo piano music written prior to the early 20th century. Initially this collection contains PDF files, but the eventual goal is to include audio as well. We currently have a large collection of rare late 19th century and early 20th century American composers but we are also collecting classical composers of all eras.

The hardest part of finding new music to play is evaluating whether I'll be able to play it and whether it's the sound I'm looking for. The goal therefore is to assemble printed music PDFs and tag them with information like the level of playing skill required, the key, the length, etc. Eventually we plan to build a rating system that allows users to rate pieces to provide information to other users about the music.
